1) Trek-ker kinogjengere (By Bård Eion Flaen ) 11 May 2009
http://www.farojournalen.no/pages/nor/2922-trekker_kinogjengere
In this story the journalist writes: "I USA gikk Star Trek rett til topps på box office-listen i helgen, med $76,5m i billettinntekter. Det markerer årets nest største kinopremiere i USA." This is not correct. To be correct it should say: "I Nord-Amerika gikk Star Trek rett til topps på box office-listen i helgen, med $76,5m i billettinntekter." The amount the journalist is reporting is North America wide (except Mexico) ticket sales for Canada and the USA. The amount is for Canadian ticket sales in Canadian theatres in Canada, and American ticket sales for American theatres in the USA. The amount he reports for just the USA, is actually ticket sales for two countries, Canada and the USA, not just the USA. This would be like a Canadian journalist writing about a movie premier in Sweden, and stating the sales for all of Scandinavia was the total for just Sweden. The movie had its North America premier, not just the USA, and there is more than just the USA in North America. The story was corrected the next day.

http://www.farojournalen.no/pages/nor/1783-sony_pictures_classic_kjoeper_norsk_film
In this story the journalist quotes the director: "At Sony Picture Classics har kjøpt rettighetene til filmen, innebærer kinodistribusjon i Nord-Amerika og Canada. Det er veldig gledelig at de har kjøpt O'Horten – de er kjent for å kjøpe kvalitetsfilm, sier regissør Bent Hamer til Rushprint." Canada is located IN North America.
