http://www.rb.no/lokal_sport/article2556209.ece
In this story the journalist writes: "Vancouver, USA". This is wrong. The Canadian city of Vancouver is located in British Columbia in Canada, not in the USA. What the journalist has written is like writing Oslo is located in Germany. After contacting the journalist the error was corrected.
2) Verdensenere i kamp (Per Kristian Torvik) 30 November 2006
http://www.rb.no/lokal_sport/article2441658.ece
In this story the Norwegian journalist writes "Han vant med god margin foran LSKs Robert Koren – og kunne blant annet slĂ„ i bordet med verdenscupseier i Lake Louise i USA." This is wrong. Lake Louise is not located in the USA, it is located in the country of Canada. This is like a Canadian journalist writing Holmenkollen is located in Germany. "Lake Louise is a hamlet located in the Canadian province of Alberta in Banff National Park. It is named for the nearby Lake Louise, which in turn was named after the Princess Louise Caroline Alberta (1848-1939), the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria, Queen of Canada, and the wife of Sir John Campbell, who was the Governor General of Canada from 1878 to 1883. The province of Alberta is also named for Princess Louise."
